| The project is located in the upper section of the South branch of the Yangtze River Estuary and the southwest side of Chongming Island。The Jiahong reservoir between Dongfeng Xisha and Chongming Island is used to provide Chongming with high-quality raw water from the Yangtze River。The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 11.62 million m3 and the effective storage capacity is 10.69 million m3.Recent daily water supply scale 21.50,000 m3/d, and the planned annual level in 2020 can reach 400,000 m3/d。Chongming DongfengXisha Reservoir is a salt-resistant and light-conserving reservoir. It is the main water source of Chongming Island in Shanghai after water supply intensification。The main buildings of the reservoir project, such as the ring dam, the water pump gate, the water transmission pump station and the drainage gate, are designed according to the class 2 buildings。 |
